AAA Cards Game #43 Star scene

Hi, I'm far from home (Tucson, AZ) celebrating the 4th of July in my home town, Havre de Grace Md.

And being Summer- many of our design team members are also on vacation. We've started the new game,

Stars with sky and maybe a touch of red, white & blue.

Instead of closing shop for a little Summer off time, we're (AAA Cards DT's) running the game on schedule,

but quietly without very many comments. We'll still get together and choose the shinning cards and post winners.

With so many of us having family time in these longest Summer days, we hope our readers continue to enhance

their craft and play the "quiet" game anyway. (this game and the next)

Our game number 43 was conjured up by veteran AAA Cards DT- Linda Beeson. Her card is so cool!

All the designers did a wonderful set of cards. I hope you might drop by

Paste & Homemade Stencil See-through Shaker Card

Hi, we're playing Game #42 at AAA Cards. This round is a technique game calling for the use

of paste and/or stencils too. I have discovered I do not like paste. Oh well, stencils are cool.
After blowing through 4 messed up and ugly attempts, I took washi tape
and taped down an abstract pattern.

Smoothed on the paste and quickly coated with ice blue glitter.

When I pulled off the tape I was finally happy.

But...Gweezz.

Then I got to play some more with making shakers with The FUSE. OH BOY! Love this tool!

(Inside view) Instead of shaking, this sachet is FULL of Martha Stewart chunky glitter. It's an Avery Elle pocket, fuse sealed rectangle with a smaller rectangle in the middle for us to see through. So simple with the right tool.

Thanks so much for being here. I need to apologize for being absent in comments with the last AAA Cards game and my own post. I'm not feeling well, or maybe "right" is the word. But I've lagged on everything bloggy this past couple weeks. Things should pick up soon.

AAA Cards #41 WOODLAND ANIMALS

Hi! We're putting out the CUTE ALERT!

Our AAA Cards CAS Challenge, game # 41 is Woodland Animals

I've been playing intensely with my Lawn Fawn animals lately. I even got a shout out at the Lawn Fawn Blog last week. Whee! These stamps have been copic colored and die cut. I created the shaker window with that wonderful new system of heat perforating on plastic sheets. Super fun!

I've purchased nearly the entire collection of the Lawn Fawn summer release 2015. My collection came yesterday! 2 days from order to in my hands! Oh I'm gonna have fun with all these new stamps and dies!
