Easter is almost here. I'm having the grandkids over for a big egg hunt and brunch for the extended family. I'm making chocolate covered oreo cookie pops and colored peeps popcorn, peep rice krispy bars and hot crossed buns....and I bet I'll find more stuff to make before the week is out.
This first card is also a creation of mine. I drew the bunnies in a graphics program and made a sentiment, then printed it out. Colored it, die cut a circle and pop taped it before covering the whole card in sugar glitter.
Easy and bright.
My next bright Easter card is made with Lawn Fawn stamps and dies "Happy Easter".
The watercoloring is actually copics. I guess I'm lucky with this. I can get the watercolor look and I don't need water. I used copics on the bunnies and colored over the lines for more color POP.
At AAA CAS Card Challenges we're running a game on Easter Colors. Please drop by and visit, I hope you are compelled to leave a card in the link-up. First place wins a prize...fun fun fun!

ReplyDeleteWith all the baking and Easter prep you're doing, I have no idea how you find the time to make cards as well!!! I absolutely adore the glittered peep bunny card - and I'm super impressed that you designed it yourself! Awesome!! Jill
ReplyDeleteYour peeps card is so realistic looking! Awesome card
ReplyDeleteBrilliant cards Victoria. Love your sparkly bunnies and so impressed it's all your own handiwork. Also think you're amazing to do all that cooking for Easter. I love having my grandchildren for Easter, sadly only the one not old enough to eat chocolate this year, but I'm dead lazy and buy everything readymade.
ReplyDeleteTwo really adorable Easter cards, Victoria! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at ATCAS!

How doesn't love peeps? I know they are my dear husbands favorite easter treat. This is so creative to make them "sugar coated". Excellent choice of "food" related item for the Open-Minded Crafting Challenge. Appreciate your entry and we wish you good luck!
