My first Christmas decorations of 2013. I'm enjoying needle felting and it's been an easy craft to carry around and work on. Everything fits into a cute box. This week I'm showing some of my White Christmas Mice in Crystal Pink.
My latest needle felted creations are these cute little mice in pink and white for Christmas. They are just under 5" tall totally adorable! Each carries decorations for the holidays and can be placed around the house for that "just right" touch.
The mice are hanging out at my new etsy site, but I also make the mice as therapy, keeping me calm as we start my husbands chemo treatments next week. Things look good, his cancer was caught so early......you can hear excitement in the doctors voices when we talk about treatments. I pray alot too, and the mice keep my hands busy.
I've collected a few "how to" videos on needle felting. This craft is so relaxing, I recommend it to anyone. I also have a short list of what you need to get started. Visit my older post- Halloween Needle Felted Cats for the list and videos.
I hope you've enjoyed the little White Christmas Mice and consider needle felting as a new hobby for youself.
Peace, Victoria

Victoria, these are absolutely delightful! You add the cutest touches. I am so sorry about your husband. I did not know that he was battling cancer. I will pray for both of you. I did watch the videos and loved them both. Amazing how you can attach parts just by felting. I am going to order the supplies. But for now, checking out your new etsy. Thanks for sharing these darling critters with SYC.

ReplyDeleteThese look so well-made and professional, Victoria, good work! I pray your husband responds well to the treatments, and you both don't feel too much stress.

Victoria, I am finally getting around to coming back and seeing about purchasing one of your mice. The one that I want is the one holding the ornament. I clicked on your etsy sight on the side bar and it says that this page cannot be displayed at this time. Do you know if it is still available?
